I dont know... 2 dr v8 wagon? It looks like a lot of the hard work has been done, although to do it correct would take a good bit more. Right on the border for me, but I would lean toward np

I dunno man you're forced to paint it now. I feel like if he left the iffy paint and fixed the rust I'd be more inclined to it.

I actually its pretty close on price, maybe offer 9-10k on it. First thing would be at least get into a sealer primer to keep it from rusting. Ranch wagons are rare among 55 fords and those are just rare in themselves compared to gm offerings in 55

Well, on the one hand, if you asked people around here if they'd be interesting in paying $12k for a V8 powered 2-door wagon you'd probably get quite a few favorable replies.
On the other hand, it's a 1955 Ford in near barn-find condition. For a collector with more money than time - one who has perhaps been looking for this relatively rare wagon - then I'd say it's probably a NP. Otherwise, yes, out to lunch.

Right, it is a rare breed that wants a 55 manual wagon and most of them want a Nomad.

filthy? probably
no noticeable damage, complete dash that doesn't looked wrecked. Compared to lots I have seen out west that looks to be in damn good shape

Gotta say, I see more 50's 2 door wagons from GM than... well, I don't think I've ever actually seen one of these ever.

Yeah I don't think I've seen any others.
